I prepared russian translation of Aptitude User's Manual (because I<br>
love aptitude!) several months ago. Currently it is a translation of<br>
0.6.9.1 version. It can be found at github:<br>

I sent a message about it to debian-l10-russian, here:<br>

Unfortunately, only Sergey Alyoshin helped a little with editing. So,<br>
my tranlsation still lacks proofreading, but I hope that if it will be<br>
widely available, it will be corrected with help of readers. So, I'd<br>
like it to be added to other online translations and (maybe) to Debian<br>
repository. Could you guide me through that path?<br>

I think, we should try to get Lev's Russian translation in for at<br>
least 0.6.10.<br>

While I personally think that we could do that even if it hasn't<br>
proof-read completely from a linguistic point of view, I'm not sure,<br>
what's the common workflow for the i18n teams here.<br>

I also don't know if technical proof-reading is considered necessary,<br>
too, or if the i18n team doesn't make any difference between<br>
linguistic and technical proof-reading.<br>

Manual has changed between 0.6.8.x/0.6.10 and 0.6.9.x (as 0.6.9 is<br>
considered a dead branch) so that Lev has a chance to update those<br>

If not, I'd guess using git diff or xmldiff over the source of the<br>
English User Manual from 0.6.8.2 (or HEAD) and the 0.6.9.x branch<br>
should do the trick.<br>
