Ok, this solved the route creation problem, it now creates a route
when NTP is used.  Thanks, good tip!

However still neither the -P echo nor -P dns are working, I still only
see arp request/responses.  ping from the busybox prompt works fine
though.

Perhaps I missing some library which helps babel-pinger create the dns
and icmp requests?
