The main new feature is an algorithm for improving route stability
(decreasing flapping).  It's been reported to work quite well, and
will be enabled by default.

There are some other minor tweaks (automatic detection of BATMAN
interfaces, random router-ids).

For what it's worth, 1.4 appears to be rock solid, and I believe it's
ready for release -- I just need to take the time for some serious
testing.
