The CeroWrt project's letter to the FCC on how to better manage the
software on wifi and home routers vs some proposed regulations is now

Just to let you know, we have been using Matthieu's routing table
specification patch in our network on over a hundred nodes now and it
seems to be working great.

Hi,

A few months ago, some IS-IS folks (Christian Franke, I believe, perhaps
in collaboration with David Lamparter) have implemented dynamically
computed metrics for wireless links in IS-IS.  Unlike Babel, they don't
measure multicast packet, but try to intuit a metric out of physical layer
information.

Mikael Abrahamsson has done some preliminary testing comparing IS-IS and
Babel in an uncongested wireless network; his writeup is here:

Wrong layering -- the filtering stuff doesn't belong in kernel_netlink,
which is supposed to be a thin layer above the kernel.  (And yes, I still
believe you did it wrong by putting disambiguation at this level.)

Applying the filter should happen in route.c, and kernel_route should take
the table number as a parameter.
