rsync -avhP eleven:"~/dixon/etc/foo" /et

in bash and then pressing tab, the following errors appear:

bash: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"'
bash: syntax error: unexpected end of file
--
Also present with scp:
scp  eleven:"~/dixon/etc/foo" /et[TAB]
same result
