Package: bash-completion
Version: 1:2.1-4.2
Severity: normal
I have a problem:
Vim completion doesn`t show files. It allow to comlete only directories.
Then I edit file /usr/share/bash-completion/bash_completion and comment out line:
"_install_xspec '*.@(o|so|so.!(conf|*/*)|a|[rs]pm|gif|jp?(e)g|mp3|mp?(e)g|avi|asf|ogg|class)' vi vim gvim rvim view rview rgvim rgview gview emacs xemacs sxemacs kate kwrite"
After this operation I am able to use completion for vim. It shows all files inclding "*.o", "*.so" etc.
Similar problem occurs with "compress" and line:
"_install_xspec '*.Z' compress znew"
Other lines like:
"_install_xspec '!*.mp3' mpg123 mpg321 madplay"
works pretty well.
