Great!  I agree it is very much needed.

At the moment - no.  The dpatch maintainers were talking about porting
dpatch to cdbs a while back, but I haven't heard anything more.

But it's worth saying that the current patch system included in cdbs was
just a quick hack intended to demonstrate a plug-in patch system; I was
hoping someone would write a better one at some point :)

You can change DEB_PACKAGES and DEB_UDEB_PACKAGES.
