Great to hear that cdbs_curpkg is being used :-)

It is the plan to use it at more places, I just haven't found time yet 
to do it.

If you could be persuaded to provide a patch for the needs you have, 
that would help speed up the work.  Or if you show me an example use 
case where you need something specific, then that could help too.

Not rocket science, I just have my head wrapped in many different topics 
currently, and don't want to make stupid errors due to not being careful 
enough.
