[buildd-tools-devel] Bug#602789: Regression: Passing <namespace>:<distribution> as CHROOT for sbuild-update and friends is broken

Package: sbuild
Version: 0.60.3-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Running 'sbuild-update <namespace>:<distribution>' results in sbuild-update
failing with the error 'Chroot for distribution <namespace>:<distribution>,
architecture amd64 not found'.

A patch to fix this can be viewed in the 'my-work' branch of my clone of sbuild
at github.
http://github.com/ceros/sbuild/commit/3bd2bed7d234e4c124ca16f965e56a0ae5aa4bb7

Please do not merge the 'my-work' branch but instead cherry-pick the commit.

Also note that this makes it possible to override the use of 'source' as the
namespace for sbuild-update and friends. This makes it possible to use
sbuild-shell to, for example, test the running of certain programs in a chroot
environment.
