[buildd-tools-devel] Bug#633509: E: /etc/buildd/wanna-build.conf: Errors found in configuration file:

Package: wanna-build
Version: 0.60.0-2squeeze1
Severity: normal

Still trying to upgrade my old buildd setup to something a little more current, I'm running into interesting
issues.

On this machine, after installing wanna-build and leaving it with its default configuration, simply running "wanna-build"
yields:

$ wanna-build
E: /etc/buildd/wanna-build.conf: Errors found in configuration file:
Global symbol "$notforus_maint" requires explicit package name at (eval 12) line 101.
Global symbol "$log_mail" requires explicit package name at (eval 12) line 104.
Global symbol "$stat_mail" requires explicit package name at (eval 12) line 107.
Global symbol "$web_stats" requires explicit package name at (eval 12) line 110.

I have not modified /etc/buildd/wanna-build.conf in any way, it's straight what's shipped with the package.

Commenting out the offending lines (which are nonetheless necessary config options) then gives:
Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at /usr/share/perl5/Sbuild/ConfBase.pm line 98.

For fun and giggles, I tried installing wanna-build on a "clean" amd64 squeeze box, and got this instead right after instal:

$ wanna-build
Can't locate DBI.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.10 /usr/share/perl/5.10 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at /usr/share/perl5/Sbuild/DB/Postgres.pm line 30.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/perl5/Sbuild/DB/Postgres.pm line 30.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/wanna-build line 32.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/wanna-build line 32.

I suppose that's a different bug though...

Anyway, turns out this incarnation of wanna-build is apparently totally unusable, I had to downgrade.

Just curious, has wanna-build 0.60.0-2 ever been tested outside of a debian official buildd setup? ;P
