[buildd-tools-devel] Bug#774351: sbuild should fail if one of the executed hooks fails

Package: sbuild
Version: 0.65.0-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

currently, sbuild happily continues doing its thing even if the
pre-build-commands, chroot-setup-commands, starting-build-commands or
the other hooks end with a non-zero exit status.

Not only is this unintuitive (the build will possible continue in a
broken state) but it also makes it impossible for a hook to abort the
build in case it detects an error with whatever it is doing.

Thanks!

cheers, josch
