So I got pinged about this by someone who realized that he didn't actually
list all the necessary build-deps in --extra-package. Piotr, I
noticed that your log is saying "but it is not going to be
installed" -- that is, the package exists but cannot itself be installed
-- instead of "but it is a virtual package" -- that is, the package does
not exist and is merely referenced by sbuild-build-depends-dummy.
In particular, it looks like python3-plainbox has an exact-equality
dependency on plainbox-secure-policy (= ${binary:Version}) |
plainbox-insecure-policy (= ${binary:Version}), so you'll need to pass
your rebuild of one of those into --extra-package, too.
Wookey, are you using the functionality to run sbuild from a directory
instead of in a dsc? I don't use that myself, so I'd believe that it
changes directory in a way I wasn't expecting. Your patch (maybe with a
"$!" in there) sounds like a good idea.
Sven, what's the error message you're getting?
