I recently got accepted into the sbuild team and now all the commits that went
into my experimental NMU as well as the --arch-all-only option are now part of
the sbuild master branch. Thus I think one can reasonably expect that the next
sbuild release which will be uploaded to unstable will incorporate the fixes to
the bugs you mentioned. Does this answer your question?

Thanks!

cheers, josch
