Unfortunately, k3b requires kde-base and other parts of KDE, and Ubuntu
uses Gnome. Installing all that kde stuff for one app is a bit overkill.
I recommend GnomeBaker (http://gnomebaker.sourceforge.net/) if you don't
have or want the KDE libraries installed.
