The default is still missing. But I think I've seen the default before, 
so I don't know when it's missing exactly.

Setting up php5-cli (5.2.0-7) ...
Modified configuration file

A new version of configuration file /etc/php5/php.ini is available, but 
your version has been locally modified.

   1. install the package maintainer's version  3. show the differences 
between the versions            5. start a new shell to examine the 
situation
   2. keep your currently-installed version     4. show a side-by-side 
difference between the versions
