Package: debconf
Version: 1.5.28
Severity: normal

i installed a package that upon installation did ask, if a changed
config file should be replaced.
i declined the request, because i had made some changes.
now i decided to reset the config file to its default state, the eaisest
way being to simply do a reinstall of the package -- which to my
surprise did _not_ pop the question again.
the next idea was using
dpkg-reconfigure ...
but neither -phigh nor -plow (and i confess, i never really grasped what
means what and how it is determined) did produce the question again.

i'd expect those managemant tools to basically offer the same options
like a new installation or upgrade of a package does.
