Comment:
we need to document the short password problem

  == Blockers for a release ==

   * confirm installation and getting started procedures in manual are correct and working
- * login as user on a freshly installed combi server (2013-06-17) does not work.
   * update screenhots in manual for wheezy - see the FIXMEs there
    * once the english screenshots are stable and one, translated ones can be made.
   * we need to decide: do we want to release binary DVD(s): and if, one combined or two for each arch? (or maybe i386 only?) or possibly not, and just release with netinst cd and usbstick image?

      * re-do with dithering
      * maybe add individual text for CD/DVD/Source/PXE...

+ == Other stuff which needs to be documented in the manual ==
+
+ * mention that on first boot after installation it will take some time until the text consoles show up, as they only show up after the testsuite has run
+ * login as user on a freshly installed combi server does not work if the password entered is too short. (what exactly *is* too short?) - this is especially confusing as these passwords work in standalone...
+
  == Unclear status ==

   * LTSP: diskless workstations are now using ldm as default display manager. To get the Kerberos TGT (e.g. for mail), kinit has to be executed in a terminal window (homedir access via sshfs, registering the box in GOsa is not needed). Setting DEFAULT_DISPLAY_MANAGER=/path/to/dm via kernel command line, lts.conf or ldap lets a diskless ws come up the old way.
    * so do diskless workstations work as described in [[DebianEdu/Documentation/Wheezy/GettingStarted]] or what needs fixing / documenting?
