I plan to fix the reported issues tonight and upload them to  
experimental. We will provide a version for Debian Edu wheezy through  
our Debian Edu wheezy package archive. Not optimal, but better than  
nothing.

The package is mostly valuable to Debian Edu users. Unfortunately, the  
initial (invasive) change was delayed around June/July last year as  
there was a lack of time first and then a lack of sponsor.

For jessie, everything shall be in place again.
