Have you rerun "depmod -a", it creates a binary (faster) dependency file.

It was just taking the 3.5 tarball, applying the 3.4-1 diff and build with:

rm config.status
chmod +x debian/rules
fakeroot ./debian/rules binary

The patches in debian/patches apply with some offset and fuzz, but
everything seems to work well.

If the people can confirm that everything works well I'll report a
wishlist bug report to module-init-tool to provide a 3.5 version, at
least for experimental.
