[Debian-eeepc-devel] any advance on sd card issues on 2.6.27?

I have been having issues with my 16Gb SD card since I bought my eeepc.
Information has been posted on this list that a patch has been accepted into
linux git to solve those issues [1].

Has anybody tried 2.6.27 on those card read errors [2] and can confirm (or
not) that it fixes the problem?
