I don't know officially but using 2.6.29 (or 30) from debian backports with 
ath5k solved all my network flakeyness problems.  Works like a charm.

I also upgraded to 'testing' to get the latest network manager (for mobile 
internet).  I've had no problems (except with the built-in microphone).
