[Debian-eeepc-devel] NetworkManager no longer working after weekend upgrade (squeeze)

Thanks for this pointer.

Sure enough, I can connect to wlan0 with the gnome "nm-applet" from within KDE, but the knetworkmanager does not work. I tried updating it to the experimental 0.9 version, but it requires libraries that are not in squeeze. It also tried editing the .kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc to change the UUID strings to proper uuids, but this didn't work for me either.

So, ... I'll use nm-applet until there is a corrected version of knetworkmanager.

Yes, I used a kernel backport for lenny before moving to squeeze.

This helped me find the nm-applet temporary solution.
