dependency_libs in a plugin .la file have no real impact that I'm aware of,
and certainly no impact on archive buildability.  As far as I'm concerned,
the bug I filed is already fixed (even if the bug title might have suggested
otherwise).  Andreas, could you please either open a separate bug report, or
mark yourself as the submitter of this one?  I really have no interest in
the question of dependency_libs in plugins.  :)
