[Debian-hebrew-package] debian-hebrew packages status

Hi,

At the very last moment before the freeze I finally fixed some of the
packages. I guess this should have been done much sooner. But I guess
it's better late than never.

A short status update:

* aspell-he
  - 1.0-0-7 uploaded. Upgraded packaging.
  - Has no active upstream.
  - Any users for this package? If so: Any point in updating it to newer
    versios of hspell?

* bidiui
  - I Didn't get to fix this one.
  - 0.9.7-1 needs to be pushed to SVN.
  - Need to modernize packaging.
  - import 0.9.8

* bidiv
  - 1.5-5 uploaded. Upgraded packaging.
  - Package in a good shape.
  - Has no active upstream.
  - Or even a homepage.

* culmus
  - I Didn't get to fix this one.
  - Need to modernize packaging.
  - Rename package to fonts-culmus as per policy(?)

* culmus-fancy
  - I Didn't check this one.
  - Need to modernize packaging.
  - Likewise potentially rename.
  - Any new fonts to include?

* fribidi
  - I Didn't check this one.
  - May need some packaging upgrade.

* hdate-applet
  - I Didn't check this one.
  - Version 0.15.11-2 is not in SVN.
  - Need to modernize packaging.

* hocr
  - Uploaded new upstream release 0.10.18 (Package: 0.10.18-2).
  - Upgraded packaging.
  - I failed to make hocr (the command-line tool) work.
  - Needs some restructuring:
    - remove hocr from the library package.
    - Two libraries in a single library packaeg. Is that OK?
  - But also a friendly reminder of tesseract that has Hebrew support.

* hspell
  - Uploaded new upstream release 1.3 (Package: 1.3-1).
  - Upgraded packaging.
  - Package in a good shape.

* hspell-gui
  - I Didn't check this one.
  - Not in version control at all.
  - Need to modernize packaging.
  - Is it useful?

* libhdate
  - Uploaded new upstream release 1.6.02 (Package: 1.6.02-1).
  - Upgraded packaging.
  - Needs some restructuring:
    - Include PHP bindings.
    - Include Ruby bindings.
    - Include a python3 package.

Not currently in the team and waiting in the new queue: ldcofonts:
