squashfs v 3.3 gives some errors

Hello,

with the latest kernel 2.6.24 and squashfs 3.3 the system sometimes gives 
errors like that:


# debuild -us -uc -b -tc
Unrecognized character \x1F at /usr/lib/perl/5.8/Cwd.pm line 1.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/debuild line 57.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/debuild line 57.

Someone has found also something like this ?
