I'm willing to maintain the Debian package if necessary, but if there's a
feasible alternative I'd like to pursue that first.  IMO it provides a
useful sanity check on the package when upstream and downstream are
different people.  If someone else in the OpenSlide user community would be
willing to maintain the package, would you be open to mentoring them through
the MoM process?
