[Debian-med-packaging] Bug#815176: staden: Gap4 contig editor does not show sequences

Hi James,

just to let you know that I moved the staden packaging from Debian
SVN to Git. You'll now find the patches we applied here:

   https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/debian-med/staden.git/tree/debian/patches

The rationale is that we have a better documented procedure for Git when
we are doing backports ... which is what Kerstin probably will ask for
since she is running Jessie.

Kerstin, you can either download the staden packages from unstable from
here:

   https://packages.debian.org/source/unstable/staden

and install manually on your Jessie system or you add unstable to your
/etc/apt/sources.list. ATTENTION: You need to adapt
/etc/apt/preferences to make sure you will not bump your whole system
to unstable!

As written above we will also provide a Jessie backport of staden but
this will need to wait until the current staden package will enter
testing - that's the rule we can't break.

Confirmation whether the package in unstable works would help to
craft the backport properly.

Hope this helps

       Andreas.
