As far as I understood a PM from Alex who forewarded an answer from the
upstream author of the code in question he agreed to GPL. So I guess
this issue is solved. Alex, I would recommend to include the relevant
parts of the mail in the debian/copyright file. It is advisable to
remember upstream to reflect the license change also in the source code
(which sometimes just will be forgotten).

Kind regards
Andreas.
Hello Charles and Andreas ,

Currently the author of code said that he will write a message to the
upstream maintainer about naview.c license changes .
And he also said that I am allowed to change license to GPL for this
file .
Upstream maintainer also says that he will think about dual licensing
under GPL for the whole suite.

Best regards ,
Alex
