The Debian Policy Manual says that:<br>

"Changes in the Debian version of the package should be briefly
explained in the
Debian changelog file <code>debian/changelog</code>"<br>
<br>
Putting the whole conversation in the changelog file seems like
overkill to me.<br>

Could you please be so kind and clarify why it is important to have
it like that.<br>
