AFAIK, and I haven't looked into it ton too much depth, joeyh has done
some work in terms of documenting the process of preseeding d-i and
debconf. I think we could run with this, at the very least. That's the
very simple solution.

I think that ideally, it would pared with at least some minimal
amount of work with something like cfengine. This is something that I
don't have a lof of experience with and was not able to pay as much
attention to in Porto Alegre as I would have liked to.

Ok, I know we can do this with a configuration file. I suspect it's
the same or similar process for preseeding stuff. Joey had something
on his blog about this las week.

I have yet to make a d-i but as I'm sure folks on this list can attest
to (as other people Iv'e heard from that are no on this list will
attest to as well) it's *hard.*
