[Debian-olpc-devel] Sugar-etoys-activity : depend being non-free

Hey Ankur,

I'm sitting here with Luke at Debconf in a Hacklab. He roped me into
helping out with some Sugar development stuff. I'm a Debian developer, and
I just joined the Sugar OLPC Devel list. I won't be able to help out much,
but during Debconf I can try to be helpful!

Ankur -- about the non-free thing, this is documented in the Debian
Policy. You need to modify debian/control -- see
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-Section
. That section points to
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-archive.html#s-subsections .

It's a bit of reading, but you're going to have to read it anyway. Read it
carefully, and feel free to ask questions on the list!

P.S. I know I screwed up the threading. Sorry about that; I spent 20
minutes trying to find an mbox archive of the list so I could convert it
to Maildir and inject that into my IMAP server. If someone can point me
(off-list, since it's off-topic) to such a file for this list, that'd be
great.
