[Debian-olpc-devel] Bug#669645: sugar-0.84, -0.86, -0.88, -0.90, -base-0.92: should not all be part of a stable release

Package: sugar-0.84,sugar-0.86,sugar-0.88,sugar-0.90,sugar-base-0.92
Severity: normal

It seems unlikely that all five (!) packaged versions of Sugar should be in
the next Debian stable, particularly when they all provide/conflict/replace
each other. Please consider choosing a version to support, removing older
versions altogether, and keeping newer versions out of testing via a dummy
RC bug (or removing versions unsuitable for wheezy from unstable and
keeping them in experimental, like Telepathy, GNOME etc. do).

The current upstream version appears to be 0.94.

(Context: while investigating a potential compatibility break in dbus-python,
I found four separate copies of sugar-presence-service, all of which
appear to be affected.)
