Bug#607655: Build failure in GUI_SRC with ld --no-add-needed / gold

You'll see this failure after applying the patches in #607651 and #607654 
(attached log file).

These seem to be omissions in the libraries from KERNEL_SRC, where dependencies 
are not defined (_DEPENDENCIES in Makefile.am), or where libraries are not 
linked against other libs to resolve unresolved symbols.

I didn't investigate further.  Given that this is only the second module, and 
more than a dozen still remain ...

Plus the packaging to build everything in one shell command doesn't help much 
doing this kind of work.  Maybe separate targets for each 
autogen/configure/build step would be more adequate, or build this kind of 
package from more than one source package.
