If IPythonConsoleLexer parses a block that consist of only comments, it produces no tokens. This is undoubtedly a bug in yade. (In such situation the LaTeX formatter produces a byte string instead of a unicode string, making Sphinx blow up - which is another a bug either in Sphinx of Pygments.) -- Jakub Wilk
