I have PS2 Eyetoy too.
I tried this device, but it seems the device has not been properly recognized.
This is not a opencv of the problem, this is the kernel of the problem.
Could you confirm the dmesg in your environment?

Also, I have confirmed that it works video capture of opencv is in the
UVC camera.
