Hi Maitland,

thanks for your interest and proposing the help in maintaining
VTK. It will always good to have more people involving in
maintaining of such a large and complex package.

I think you can surely coordinate your efforts with Gert, who is
preparing VTK7/VTK8 for the Buster. I will keep maintaining
VTK6 till it will be deprecated and replaced by a newer versions.
