Dear Maintainer,

Your package build-depends on python3-sip-dev, which belongs to the deprecated
sip4 source package.

The modern version of SIP is packaged as sip6, and PyQt5 and PyQt6 packages
in Debian are built with that modern version.

I briefly looked at the code, and it looks like sip is only referenced in
context of py2exe/cx_Freeze, which I believe are not used in Debian packaging.
