[Debian-sponsors-discuss] ask for a donation during download

Mike Milinkovich pointed me to some recent experiences of his and Ian
Skerret at Eclipse:

TL;DR: "Ask for a donation when the download is occurring not when a
user is browsing the project site". By doing so Eclipse has seen a 5-6x
improvement in donation flow.

Does anyone here see drawbacks in doing so on the Debian website?
I suggest filing this as a bug against the www.d.o pseudo-package.

Cheers.
