ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 13, 2004 – Arbortext, Inc., the leading provider of

3-7, 2004, at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta, Georgia. Business and

publishing, weapon systems, automotive, aerospace and financial services
attended the event.

Raymond Schiavone, CEO and President of Arbortext, delivered Wednesday’s
keynote presentation on the company’s strategy and the important role that
enterprise publishing plays in today’s global organizations.

Steve Anderson, Manager Worldwide Technical Information Services
Agricultural Division at John Deere, kicked off Thursday by discussing
what John Deere is doing to support its vision for an electronic-based
technical information delivery system.

This year’s conference featured more than 50 educational and training
sessions, including nine pre-conference workshops that provided an
introduction and understanding of structured authoring, multichannel
publishing, stylesheet design and data modeling. The conference also
included a Partner Exhibition where 16 Arbortext partners, including
top-level sponsors Documentum, Astoria, RWD Technologies and Flatirons
Solutions, demonstrated how their products and technologies complement
Arbortext Enterprise Publishing Software. In addition, many Arbortext
customers, including Boeing, Aventis, SAS Institute, Lockheed Martin, SAP
AG, Jane’s Information Group and Siemens Building Technologies, presented
in sessions that demonstrated the value of their Arbortext applications.

“This conference has consistently been an excellent opportunity for
customers, partners and prospective customers to share best practices,
discuss the latest trends, learn about Arbortext’s newest software, and
walk away with more ideas and opportunities,” said Terry Welty, Arbortext’
s Vice President of Corporate Marketing. “It was gratifying to see that
this year’s attendance grew by almost 40%.”
