This symbol is undefined in libxml2, and defined in libz.so.1, which
zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 *does* have. What does ldd
/usr/lib/libxml2.so.2 tell you ? My guess is that it doesn't use
/usr/lib/libz.so.1...
