Yes, I think so.  Even if it may not be complete (is it worthwhile to
include aspell support? what about abiword?), I think that the existing
support (debconf, emacsen, jed, mutt) is mature enough.

I will be completely unavailable during August.  Hopefully, if the
announcement happens before the Summer, it will not come too late in July.

I think that your proposal in ANNOUNCE.pre-final.  We have just to make sure
that the IDWP mainainer feel themselves comfortable with the new system.
