This version seems to be the last one available from upstream, even in
the Git repository:

  <http://people.freedesktop.org/~hadess/>

This device hijacks the Device ID of another working one and while
upstream support is available in libfprint, it should be always
disabled:

 <http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libfprint/libfprint/commit/?id=5a1926bb416fa4e5a38fa10b9ac3da04ce9f3f72>

However, given that Michele reported that fprint-demo works fine, I
guess the problem relies in libpam-fprint which should be probably
updated WRT the latest libfrint version.

Ulises, given that I know Michele in person and he is actually willing
to make his bests to fix bugs with his new ThinkPad W520 (at least to
show his colleagues that his laptop work as well with Debian as with
Windows), feel free to ask for testing patches ;-)

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
