+Volatility[1] is a program to analyse RAM dumps and needs profiles to
+understand each kernel version.
+
+Information about the use and how to make your own profiles are available

+volatility-profiles provides several profiles generated by Volatility.
+
+In Volatility, the /usr/share/volatility/tools/ directory has a .c and a
+Makefile reponsible to generate each profile in each Linux distribution
+(and MAC OS too). The make command must run in a machine that is using
+the target kernel.
+
+The main idea of this package is make available profiles to several Linux
+kernels in some distributions. So, the source code used by the upstream to
+generate the profiles were the kernel headers and /usr/share/volatility/tools/
+directory.
