I think IPv6 support should be at least on a par with IPv4 support now
with an aim of leveraging IPv6 specific functionality over time.
mobile IPv6, IPSEC as standard, a reasonable SLAAC method all are
beneficial. I'm not sure why it would need to be investigated with
privacy in mind? The main issue at the moment is that it is being
delivery over tunnels via centralised brokers on the whole but that is
changing as ISP/IAPs start providing it to the subscriber. I strongly
believe that IPv6 has to be a first class citizen from day one.
