Happy that you are inspired by this - and yes, please post more about 
your actual code and setup!

Beware, though, that the concept "Debian Pure Blend" is about using only 
official Debian parts, no external addons.  Or put differently: that all 
pieces (code, scripts, graphics etc.) that you add to make your system 
is put into Debian.  Then, when next stable Debian release includes your 
system, your system is a Debian Pure Blend.

Please do not despair: Debian Pure Blends is not meant to discourage you 
from "hacking on top" of Debian - just please do not call it a DEbian 
Pure Blend, because such approach is in fact not purely Debian.
