OK, so ZRTP is a proposed open standard. Not a program.

Proposed RFP by Phil Zimmerman et al is here:

Phil Zimmerman et al and implement protocol in proprietary program
zphone.  Zphone FAQ at makes it clear that zphone is not open
source[1]

Wikipedia indicates there are four purported free implementations[2].
I have not validated that claim.  Nor the definition of "free" in that
context.  References to "GNU ZRTP" and "libzrtp" are worth pursuing...
