[Freedombox-discuss] distributed DNS

Hello,

I'm sure the current DNS way is replaceable but maybe it is better to go for
the short/mid term achievable first and have an incremental approach to
freedom.  Work within the current constraints and get something out there
that moves people away from the current centralised data stores and moves
the control back to them (social, email...) and then once it works, is out
there and used then start incrementally fixing the rest.  I guess a workable
roadmap is needed, there is a high level start on the wiki.  I guess what is
needed is to identify the 'low hanging fruit' and go for them first.  Figure
out the OS, software and hardware that can be assembled within the next few
months so that the project has a goal and momentum.
