I couldn't agree more, as a latinamerican person, with this comment.

Yeah, oppressive countries like France with the HADOPI law[0] and
Spain with their so called "Sinde law"[1]

And exactly those US corporations/government agencies are lobbying in
every country for control, vigilance and centralization in the net,
and selling devices for control and vigilance to oppressive
governments.
