[Freedombox-discuss] Freedombox 0.2 almost ready - please test

The next release of freedombox is almost ready to ship.  If you want
to help out, please test it.  The focus of this release is to
demonstrate Plinth, the web interface available for administrating the
freedombox.  The option to enable owncloud is working, but trigger a
time out in the web browser while it is being set up. :)

To test it, fetch the git source of freedom-maker and build the image
you want:

  git clone http://anonscm.debian.org/git/freedombox/freedom-maker.git freedom-maker
  make -C freedom-maker dreamplug-image raspberry-image virtualbox-image

This will build the image using the built setup from Bdale.  It is
probably very close to the final version.

If you only want one of the possible images of dreamplug, raspberry
and virtualbox, remove the rest from the make command line.  The
images will show up in freedom-maker/build/.

Copy the images to the appropriate boot device (SD card for dreamplug
and Raspberry Pi, hard drive for virtualbox), and boot the client.

Does it work for you?  If not, let us know about your problems, either
here or on IRC, #freedombox on irc.debian.org.

Nick Daly got the dreambox image working yesterday.  Did anyone test
the Raspberry Pi and VirtualBox images lately?
