If the Raspberry Pi 2 is anything like the original Raspberry Pi, it
will require a binary blob simply to boot. This requirement is
unacceptable for a free software project like Freedombox.

Superior boards like the Beaglebone Black or OLinuXino A10 LIME are only
slightly more expensive, but do not require proprietary firmware. They
are also OSHW compliant, which helps adoption.
